The Five Kinds of Goat
The Goat's own element is always Earth; the birth year adds the second. For the Wood Goat, Wood restrains Earth, so the year keeps the Goat in check.

Compatibility follows the animal, not the element. Tradition favors the Rabbit, Pig and Horse for the Goat, and the Ox is its enemy sign.
